DC native Olivia Mancini’s roots and rock songs jump with the raw energy of great ska, always wrapped around her distinctive and melodious voice. Backed by a rhythm section of Antonette Goroch (Liesl's Wet Dress/Amazon Mollies) and Michele Kappel-Stone (The Kirby Grips/Tippy Canoe)

The Cupcake Diaries are the touring duo of Antonette Goroch and Michele Kappel-Stone (aka Tippy Canoe).
Sister-like harmonies and a merry-go-round of guitar, ukulele, washboard, and bass propel their Americana sound. The name was derived from their first tour’s final destination: a cupcake bakery in Olympia, WA and “The Cupcake Diaries” stuck. On their musical journey they combine a thirst for exploration and revel in the delight of their colorful lives like Thelma & Louise on a sugar-high. They each have a background in power-pop and melodic punk to add a sharp edge to the sweetness.
