Tippy Canoe & the Bay Area Brit is the combination of long-time musical favorite, Tippy Canoe, with her original acoustic melodic folk-pop and writer, blogger, and cartoonist, Matty Stone (a/k/a The Bay Area Brit). They first joined forces in December 2011 at the Art Beat Foundation's Winter Showcase and found the pairing such a thrill that they formalized the new dynamic duo soon after. The two take the stage together and switch off between her catchy and heartfelt songs on ukulele and guitar and his clever humor essays. A song and word tag team, if you will, that never fails to delight. |
